Carol D’Silva –
I received my new 1220 Tow and Collect machine two weeks ago and put it through its paces.
If I have one word to summarise its performance – BRILLIANT!
I have a Thoroughbred Breeding Farm on the Central Coast of NSW with 13 Horses who each drop on average 10 pads per day …. that’s a lot of horse manure and a big test for the 1220 Tow and Collect. I had previously tried several engine driven machines that vacuumed or picked up manure with mixed success. The 1220 Tow and Collect towed by a Kubota RTV, performed remarkedly well with no engine noise (no need for ear muffs). The brushes are driven by a cog on one of the wheels. The 1220 is more manageable in the corners and picked up manure and dead thatch efficiently. The best part is the ease in dumping the manure. I do not need my husband to help me anymore, shouting out instructions and helping me with the unloading process. On completion, I give the 1220 a good hosing down and I am ready for the next manure run. It’s the best solution in the market by far!
